Why sheets

A sticker sheet turns several small stickers into one item: easier to pack, easier to hand out, and cheaper per sticker than cutting each design individually. They are the standard format for ecommerce inserts and subscription boxes, where a customer receives a set rather than a single sticker.

The format also solves a practical problem — very small stickers (under 20 mm) are difficult to peel individually and easy to lose. On a sheet, they stay put until needed.

Kiss cut, not die cut

A sheet is kiss cut: the blade cuts through the sticker and the adhesive but leaves the backing paper intact. The sheet stays one piece; each sticker peels off when required.

That is different from die cutting, where each sticker is cut out entirely. Sheets are cheaper because there is one cutting pass for the whole layout rather than one per sticker.

Layout and sizing

Decision Practical guidance
Sheet size A5 and A6 are the common insert sizes; custom sizes are possible
Stickers per sheet 6–20 is typical; more means smaller stickers and tighter cutting
Spacing At least 3 mm between cuts so the blade does not tear neighbouring stickers
Margins 5 mm from the sheet edge keeps the sheet intact when handled

Mixed designs on one sheet are fine — that is often the point — as long as they share a material and finish.

Artwork

Supply one file per sheet at final size, with every sticker’s cut path on a separate layer. Keep text at least 3 mm inside each cut line; small stickers on a sheet are where cramped designs fail most often.

If the sheet mixes several logos, send them as vector files. Mixing a vector logo with a low-resolution PNG on the same sheet produces one sharp sticker and one soft one, which looks like a printing fault.

Materials

White vinyl is the default for inserts and giveaways. Paper is cheaper for indoor, short-life packs. Clear vinyl works but shows fingerprints, and on a sheet that has been handled, that is very visible.

Quantity and cost

Sheets are priced per sheet, not per sticker, so the cost per sticker falls as the number of stickers per sheet rises — up to the point where the stickers are too small to be useful. At 50 sheets, the setup dominates; at 5,000, material and cutting do.

Ordering

Send the sheet dimensions, the number of stickers, the designs and the quantity of sheets. If you are unsure about layout, send the individual logos and we will propose a sheet arrangement.

Questions we get before every order

What is the minimum order for sticker sheets?

50 units per design. Mixed designs can be combined in one order where the material and size match; ask us and we will confirm before quoting.

How long does production take?

Typically 7–12 working days after artwork approval. Delivery time depends on destination and shipping method, and is confirmed with the quotation.

What artwork do you need?

A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) at final size, with fonts outlined. If you only have a PNG or JPG, send the highest resolution you have and we will tell you whether it is usable before you pay anything.
